How much do veneers cost in Turkey?

The honest answer includes getting there. Below is the whole trip — treatment, the flight, hotel and transfers — against what UK private treatment costs.

Honestly? Not worth flying for this on its own.

Once flights are in, the difference is too small to justify the trip and the time off. Where it does start to pay is if you're having several teeth done at once — ask us and we'll tell you straight whether your case clears that line.

Flight figures are typical return fares from London Gatwick, not quotes. Antalya routes are seasonal, so book early and expect peak-summer fares to sit at the top of that range.

Treatment prices become fixed in your written plan after the UK examination. Anything that needs treating first — an extraction, gum treatment, a bone graft — is identified then, not mid-trip.

UK or Antalya: everything the price doesn't tell you

Veneers: having it done in the UK compared with having it done with us in AntalyaEight things that differ between the two routes. Three of them favour staying at home, and they are in the table rather than left out of it. The Antalya price is a typical range rather than the clinic's signed-off list, which is not published yet — your own figure is fixed in writing after the UK examination.

The row that decides it is the first one, and it is the only one that depends on how much work you need. For a single unit the price gap rarely covers two flights and a hotel; for a full arch it covers them several times over. That is what the calculator on this page is for — it does the arithmetic for veneers with your unit count and your airport in it, and it is allowed to come back and tell you to stay at home.

What you are paying for, stage by stage

Every figure above covers this sequence of appointments. Nothing here is a photograph of a patient — they are medical renders of the procedure on anatomical models.

  1. A model of a single natural upper front tooth in gum and bone

    Trip 1 · day 1

Step 1: The tooth as it is

Veneers are a facing, so the starting point matters: there has to be enough sound enamel to bond to. That is one of the things the UK examination is for.

  2. The same tooth with a very thin layer removed from its front surface only

    Trip 1 · day 2

Step 2: A thin layer comes off the front

Well under a millimetre, from the front face only. The tooth keeps its height, its biting edge and its whole back and sides. This is the step that makes veneers different from crowns, and it is irreversible.

  3. A wafer-thin ceramic veneer shown floating in front of the prepared tooth

    Trip 1 · days 3–5

Step 3: The laboratory makes it

A ceramic facing about as thick as a contact lens, made to the shade agreed before you flew. This is the part of the week where nothing happens to you.

  4. The finished veneer bonded onto the tooth with no visible join at the gum line

    Trip 1 · days 6–7

Step 4: It is bonded on

Tried in first, adjusted, then bonded. Done properly the join at the gum line is invisible and the edge stays translucent like enamel.

Medical renders of the stages of the procedure, on anatomical models. Not photographs of a patient, and not a before-and-after — no result shown here belongs to anyone. Your own case is planned at the UK examination.

The clinical detail behind each stage — materials, recovery, what can go wrong — is on the veneers guide.

And how many days would you be away?

The other half of the cost, and the one people underestimate. Here is veneers day by day — which days you are at the clinic, which are yours, and how many nights that adds up to.

Before you fly

  • UK examination, photographs and the shade conversation

We look at your teeth, your gum line and your bite in person, and we agree what is actually being treated and with which material. Whitening, if you want it, happens before the porcelain is matched — never after.

Consultation, X-rays and a mock-up

The plan is confirmed tooth by tooth. You should be able to see a digital design or a physical mock-up of the proposed shape and shade before a drill is touched, and you should be willing to say no to it.

What moves the price

Two quotes for the same treatment name can describe different work. These are the lines to compare before you compare the totals.

How many teeth
Priced per tooth, so the count is the whole quote. It should come from your smile line — how many teeth actually show — not from a package of ten or twenty.
Material
E-max, layered porcelain, zirconia and composite are different products at different prices. A quote that does not name the material is not a quote.
Veneers or crowns
The most important line and the one most often blurred. A crown is more tooth removed and usually a different price; being sold one under the other's name is the complaint behind most "Turkey teeth" stories.
Work needed first
Decay, gum treatment, or a tooth that turns out to need root canal treatment once it is prepared. Ask in advance what happens to the price when that is found.
Whitening beforehand
If you want your natural teeth lighter, it has to happen before the porcelain shade is chosen. Doing it afterwards means the veneers no longer match.

Why the price is lower in Türkiye

Almost all of it is cost base rather than corner-cutting. Clinical salaries, premises, laboratory work and the exchange rate are substantially cheaper in Türkiye than in the UK, and those make up most of what a UK private fee is paying for. The components themselves — implant systems, zirconia blocks, porcelain — trade on a global market at broadly similar prices wherever the clinic is.

That explains a large gap, not an unlimited one. If a quote is far below what other Turkish clinics charge, something is different, and the honest question to ask is what. Usually the answer is materials: an unbranded implant system with no certificate, or a lab whose work you cannot trace.

What a UK private quote is made of

It is worth knowing what you are comparing against, because the two figures are not built the same way. A UK private fee carries premises in a British high street, UK clinical and nursing salaries, GDC registration and indemnity, a UK laboratory bill, and the practice's own overheads and margin. None of that is waste — it is what a UK practice costs to run, and it is also why two UK practices five miles apart quote differently for the same crown.

The NHS is a separate question rather than a cheaper version of the same one. NHS band charges cover the treatments the NHS provides; implants sit outside that except in narrow clinical circumstances, and cosmetic work sits outside it entirely. So for most people reading this page the real comparison is UK private against Türkiye, with travel counted — which is exactly what the table above does.

What is and isn't included

  • Treatment as set out in your written plan
  • Airport transfers in Antalya
  • Hotel accommodation for the treatment stay
  • Interpreter / English-speaking coordinator
  • CBCT scan and X-rays taken at the clinic
  • Written guarantee
  • Not included: Flights — Booked by you — we can advise on routes

The costs that are easy to miss

None of these are hidden by us — they are in the calculator above. They are listed here because they are the ones missing from a headline treatment price wherever you read it, and the reason a cheap-looking quote can end up level with a UK one.

  • Flights, multiplied by trips. One return fare each, for you and for anyone travelling with you.
  • Time off work. Around 6 nights per trip, which for most people is annual leave rather than a weekend.
  • Food, and the days you are not in the chair. Laboratory stages mean waiting days. They are pleasant days in Antalya, but they are days you are spending money on.
  • Travel insurance that covers planned treatment abroad. A standard policy usually does not, and this is the single most commonly skipped line.
  • Treatment found on examination. Gum treatment, extractions or a root canal that has to happen first. This is why we examine before we quote, and why the plan says what happens to the price if the plan changes.
  • Aftercare at home. Hygienist appointments and routine reviews in the UK. Ongoing, and worth budgeting for properly — it is what protects the work.

How to compare two quotes properly

A cheaper quote is only cheaper if it covers the same thing. Put the quotes side by side and check these before you look at the totals:

  • The unit count. How many implants, crowns or veneers, and per arch or per mouth. Most confusing gaps between quotes are here.
  • The material, named.Which implant system, which ceramic. “Premium” is not a material.
  • How many trips, and how many nights. A one-trip quote and a two-trip quote for the same treatment are not describing the same treatment.
  • What happens if a tooth needs root canal treatment once it is prepared — clinically and financially.
  • What the guarantee actually covers, and for how long — in writing, not in a sentence on a website.
  • Who you call from the UK if something goes wrong in month four.

When it is not worth travelling

Sometimes it is not, and the calculator above will say so rather than quietly rounding in our favour. Flights and a hotel are a fixed cost that does not scale with the amount of treatment, so a small plan can be swallowed whole by the trip — one crown, or whitening on its own, rarely pays for itself. The gap opens up with quantity, which is why full-arch and multi-unit cases are where the difference becomes large enough to matter.

If your case is one of the small ones, we would rather tell you here than take a deposit. There is a free UK meet-up either way, and no obligation attached to it.

Common questions

Is the price I'm quoted the price I pay?

Yes — once we've examined you and written the plan. Before that, any figure is an estimate based on incomplete information, and we'll say so. What changes a total is finding something on examination that has to be treated first, which is exactly why we look before we quote.

Are flights included?

No. You book your own flights, which usually works out cheaper and gives you control over the dates. We arrange the airport transfer and accommodation for the treatment stay. The comparison on this page counts the fares anyway — leaving them out would make the saving look bigger than it is.

Do I pay everything up front?

No. The payment schedule is set out in your treatment plan before you travel, so you know what's due and when.

Why is veneers so much cheaper than in the UK?

Staff costs, premises, lab fees and the exchange rate — the things that make up most of a UK private fee. The materials cost broadly the same wherever you go, which is why a clinic should be willing to name the brand it uses.

Can I get a written quote before I fly?

You should insist on one, from us and from anyone else you're considering. Ours follows the UK examination, names the material and the unit count, states the number of trips, and sets out what happens to the price if something has to be treated first. A figure sent over WhatsApp from a photograph is a starting point, not a quote.

Is a package deal cheaper than paying per unit?

It depends entirely on whether the package matches your mouth. Packages are priced around a fixed unit count — a set number of veneers, or a full arch — so they look excellent value if that is genuinely what you need and poor value if you are paying for units you don't. Ask for the per-unit price underneath the package and do the arithmetic; a clinic that won't break it down is telling you something.

Is it better to get veneers done in the UK or in Turkey?

It depends on the size of the plan and on what you need from the aftercare. Flights and a hotel are a fixed cost, so small cases often work out level or worse once travel is counted, while larger ones don't come close. If you want everything within a short drive and you can fund it, the UK is the simpler answer and we'll say so. Our calculator gives you the arithmetic for your own case rather than a slogan.

Will UK dentists work on treatment done in Turkey?

For routine care, generally yes. What they will not do is guarantee work they did not carry out and cannot identify — which is a documentation problem rather than a border. Go home with the materials named, the components identified, your radiographs and a written guarantee, and register with a UK practice. We examine you in the UK before you travel, so there is someone here to call as well.

What if I need more treatment than expected?

The written plan states what is covered and what would be charged separately, so an addition is a conversation with a number attached rather than a surprise at the desk. Most of these are found at the UK examination rather than in Antalya, which is the point of doing it in that order.
