Who we are
Dental Journey Turkey is operated by Ballıpınar Dental, a dental clinic in Antalya, Türkiye. We are the controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, phone number, and optionally your email, your town and a description of your dental problem. Where you describe a health condition, that is special-category data under UK GDPR and we treat it accordingly.
- Which page you came from. Recorded with your enquiry so we know which of our pages are useful.
- Analytics. Only if you accept cookies. Nothing analytical loads before you choose.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, arrange your UK examination, and prepare a treatment plan. We do not sell your data and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is delivered to our own team through a messaging service operated by Discord Inc., which is based in the United States. That means the details you send — including anything you write about your teeth — are stored on Discord's systems as well as reaching us. Nobody outside our team and our clinical team is given access to it, and it is not used for anything other than answering you.
If you would rather your description of the problem did not go through a third-party service, leave that box empty and tell us over the phone or on WhatsApp instead. We only need a name and a number to get back to you.
Sending data outside the UK
Two transfers leave the UK. Preparing your treatment plan means sharing your details with our clinical team in Türkiye, and the messaging service described above is operated from the United States. TODO(legal): state the transfer mechanism relied on for each and how a copy of the safeguards can be obtained.
How long we keep it
TODO(legal): set retention periods — enquiries that go no further, and clinical records, which are subject to dental record-retention rules rather than a marketing schedule.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email TODO(client): privacy contact addressand we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Clinic listings
The directory contains business contact details from public sources — practice names, addresses, phone numbers, websites and aggregate ratings. It contains no personal data about individual dentists and no review text. If you are associated with a listed practice and want an entry corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it.
