What our work looks like, and where to check us

Eight real cases from the clinic's own gallery, the review platforms you can read without asking us, and the awkward half — what none of it tells you about your own mouth.

Before and after

Eight cases, and what we do not know about them

Forty images in the clinic's gallery were reviewed. Twenty were finished-smile portraits rather than pairs, and were skipped. Of the twenty genuine pairs these eight were chosen because the 'before' shows real clinical need and the 'after' keeps some natural character — the very white, very uniform results were left out on purpose.

  • Before and after: upper front teeth with a missing tooth and a dark gap, then a complete even upper arch
Before: A missing upper tooth and a visible gap.
  • Before and after: several missing upper teeth with wide gaps, then a complete restored upper arch
Before: Several missing upper teeth and wide gaps.
  • Before and after: chipped and uneven upper front teeth, then an even upper arch
Before: Chipped and unevenly worn front teeth.
  • Before and after: crowded and gapped upper front teeth, then an aligned upper arch
Before: Crowding and spacing across the upper front teeth.
  • Before and after: worn and discoloured upper front teeth, then a restored upper arch
Before: Wear and discolouration across the upper front teeth.
  • Before and after: uneven upper front teeth, then a more even upper arch
Before: Uneven edges and shade across the upper front teeth.
  • Before and after: heavily damaged and decayed upper teeth, then a restored upper arch
Before: Heavy damage and decay across the upper teeth.
  • Before and after: worn, discoloured and uneven upper teeth, then a restored upper arch
Before: Wear, discolouration and uneven edges.

Ballıpınar's own patients, published by Ballıpınar. Mirrored on 18 August 2026 from Ballıpınar Dental Centre's own published case gallery. Nothing on this page is generated, and no other clinic's photographs appear anywhere on this site.

What we cannot tell you about them. The clinic's gallery carries no case notes, so we do not know which materials were used in each case, how long after treatment the second photograph was taken, or whether either photograph was edited. We would rather say that than imply a timescale nobody has confirmed.

Eight cases, not a typical result. What is achievable depends on your own teeth, gums and bone, and is assessed at the UK examination — not from a photograph of somebody else. Some people are told a smaller job would suit them better, and some are told to have gum treatment first.

Independently

Go and check us somewhere we do not control

We do not reproduce review text here — not ours and not the UK practices' we list. It belongs to the people who wrote it, and a quote we chose ourselves tells you nothing except which quote we chose. The links above go to platforms we do not control, where you can read the bad ones too.

Figures read on 19 August 2026. They move — check the current one on the platform rather than taking ours.

Scale

What the clinic publishes about itself

Volume, not outcomes. How many implants a practice places in a year is a checkable operational fact; a success rate would be a clinical claim needing a study behind it, and we do not have one.

Since 1975
The clinic has been open
Corroborated inside this site rather than taken on trust: the longest-serving dentist on the team qualified in 1978, which makes a half-century practice a plausible thing rather than a round number somebody liked.
~1,200
Implants placed a year
Volume matters for implant work in a way it does not for a filling. It is the difference between a surgeon who does this weekly and one who does it occasionally.
40,000+
Veneers and crowns fitted
Fitted in the clinic's own laboratory, which is also why the turnaround inside one trip is possible at all.
18
Dentists on the team
Eight of them specialists — surgeons, orthodontists, a periodontist and an endodontist — each named with their university and year of qualification.

Figures as published by the clinic at ballipinar.net, read on 19 August 2026 from ballipinar.net. The clinic also publishes more than one million treatments in over 50 yearswe report that rather than assert it, because it is not a number anyone outside the clinic can check. The dentist count and the specialist breakdown are our own count of the clinic's published team list, which is below.

Who does the work

Named clinicians, with the university and the year

The hardest thing to establish on a dental-tourism page is that real, qualified people do the work, and most clinics answer it with a stock photo of someone in scrubs. This is the clinic's own published team list.

18 dentists, 8 of them specialists — 4 oral and maxillofacial surgeons, 2 orthodontists, 1 periodontist and 1 endodontist. The one who has been qualified longest took his degree in 1978.

The clinic publishes a photograph of 8 of the 18; the rest are named on our Antalya clinic page with their qualifications. None of them has reviewed the treatment pages on this site — a medical reviewer is someone who has read a page and put their name to it, and borrowing a surgeon's name from a staff list to fill that slot would be inventing a review that never happened.

Authorisations

Two numbered licences, and which is which

They are commonly conflated, including by clinics who benefit from the confusion. One authorises a clinic to treat international patients; the other authorises a company to arrange the journey. Ballıpınar holds both, and they are not the same document.

The treating clinic

ST-5530

Özel Ballıpınar Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği

Issued by USHAŞ, Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health

Authorises the clinic itself to carry out international health tourism. This is the one that matters for who treats you. The clinic's own dental authorisation number is ST-5530.

The travel side

AK-1677

Ballıpınar VİP Travel Uluslararası Sağlık Turizmi A.Ş.

Issued by USHAŞ, Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health

Authorises a company to arrange and coordinate the journey — flights, transfers, accommodation. It is explicitly not a healthcare-provider authorisation, and any clinic presenting one as if it were is telling you something.

Both carry document codes issued by USHAŞ, the Türkiye Ministry of Health's international health services company, and both can be checked against it — which is the only kind of credential this site publishes. The certificates themselves are on the clinic page.

Afterwards

The part most clinics abroad have no answer for

A result in a photograph is worth less than knowing who looks at it in eighteen months. These are the UK commitments Ballıpınar already publishes, so you can go and check each one.

  • A London office

Ballıpınar's UK base — the point of contact before you travel and after you're home, in the same time zone as you.

    Published at ballipinar.net/ballipinar-london-connection

  • A London aftercare clinic

Follow-up appointments happen in the UK, not by email from another country. This is the part most dental-tourism clinics have no answer for.

    Published at ballipinar.net/london-aftercare-clinic

  • Face-to-face consultation days around the UK

Newcastle, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh — so the UK step isn't only available to people who can reach the capital.

    Published at ballipinar.net/newcastle-dental-consultation

  • Free dental meet-ups

Open sessions where you can be seen and get a treatment plan without committing to anything at all.

  • Platinum sponsor, Gillingham FC

A public, checkable commitment to a UK community — not a badge we made ourselves.

The awkward half

What none of this tells you

  • Not whether it would work for you.Eight cases is eight cases. What is achievable depends on your own teeth, gums and bone, and is assessed at the UK examination — not from somebody else's photograph and not by us over WhatsApp.
  • Not how long these results have held. The clinic's gallery has no dates on it. An "after" photograph with no interval implies permanence, and we are not going to imply it on your behalf.
  • Not that the trip is right for you. For one implant, one crown or a filling it usually is not — two flights and the time off eat the difference. The price comparison is built to say so, and does.
  • Not that we are impartial. We are the clinic. This directory lists the UK practices we compete with, unpaid and unranked by us, and we say so on every page — including this one.

Or judge for yourself, in person

The free UK meet-ups are open sessions — other patients come to them, nobody is chaperoning the conversation, and you can be seen and get a treatment plan without committing to anything.

Common questions

Why are there no patient reviews written out on this page?

Because they are not ours to reproduce. This site publishes the aggregate rating and review count for around 4,800 UK practices and never their review text, for the same reason — it belongs to the people who wrote it. Quoting our own while withholding theirs would tell you something about us, and not the flattering thing. The links on this page go to platforms we do not control, where the unflattering reviews are still there.

Are the before-and-after photographs real?

Yes, and they are the clinic's own patients, published by the clinic on its own site with its logo in the frame. Nothing on this site is a generated before-and-after and nothing ever will be — a generated one is a claim about an outcome that never happened. What we cannot tell you is which materials were used in each case or how long after treatment the second photograph was taken, because the clinic's gallery carries no case notes. We say so under the pictures rather than implying a timescale nobody has confirmed.

Do these results mean I would get the same?

No, and anyone telling you otherwise from a photograph is guessing. What is achievable depends on your own teeth, gums and bone, and it is assessed at the UK examination before anything is booked. Some people are told a smaller job would suit them better; some are told to have gum treatment first; some are told the trip is not worth it for what they need.

Can I speak to someone who has been treated there?

Ask us and we will try to arrange it, with their permission — we will not hand out a former patient's details without it. The free UK meet-ups are usually easier: they are open sessions, other patients come to them, and nobody is chaperoning the conversation.

What happens if something goes wrong after I am home?

There is a London aftercare clinic and consultation days around the UK, so a follow-up is a train ride rather than a flight. That is the part of dental tourism most clinics have no answer for, and it is the honest reason to weigh us against a practice on your own high street rather than against a clinic abroad with a UK phone number and nothing behind it.

No obligation

Find out what your treatment would actually cost

Send us a few details and we'll come back within a working day with what's involved and what it costs. We examine you in the UK before anything is booked.

We'll tell you if you're better off treated at home.
